Solitaire is a classic card game played by a single player. Here’s a simple guide on how to play the standard version, also known as Klondike Solitaire:

Objective:
The goal is to move all the cards to a foundation, following specific rules.
Setup:
- Use a standard 52-card deck.
- Shuffle the deck.
- Deal seven tableau columns, starting with one card in the first column, two cards in the second column, and so on, with the seventh column having seven cards. The top card in each column is face up.
Gameplay:

- Foundation Piles:
- Start by trying to move Aces to the foundation piles at the top right. There are four foundation piles, one for each suit.
- Tableau Columns:
- Build tableau columns in descending order (King to Ace) alternating colors. For example, you can place a red 6 on a black 7.
- Moving Cards:
- You can move cards between tableau columns based on descending order and alternating colors.
- You can also move sequences of cards. For example, you can move a red 8 and the entire sequence of face-up cards below it onto a black 9.
- Empty Columns:
- You can move any King (or a sequence starting with a King) to an empty tableau column.
- Draw Pile:
- The remaining cards form the draw pile. You can draw one card at a time and place it on the tableau or directly onto the foundation piles if it’s an Ace.
- Winning:
- The game is won when all four foundation piles are complete with Ace to King of the same suit.
Tips:

- Focus on uncovering face-down cards in the tableau by moving face-up cards as soon as possible.
- Try to create tableau columns with alternating colors to maximize your options.
- Aim to move Kings to empty tableau columns to free up space.
Remember, while the rules for Klondike Solitaire are fairly standard, there are variations of Solitaire, each with its own set of rules. Enjoy the game!
